Sonic Night : The Movie

    Kids we all have traditions. Sometimes we have no idea it's a tradition til' you realize that you have been doing the same thing @ the same time for a number of evenings for a number of weeks, months or years...

    It can start with a casual meeting @ a local book store, movie theater, mall or restaurant.Afterward when you are about to part someone says something along the lines of , "Hey, we should do this again next week."

 Or Sometimes all it takes is a hankering for some greasy food after a long day of studying & you & your friend decide to journey for the taste of magical tots, chili cheese coneys & a gallon of Route 44 sweet liquid...

What started as a simple getaway, became something much more than that

A couple of semesters ago

My friend & I, decided  that out of our whole busy school schedule we needed a time 2 hang & chill. Wednesday night just so happen to be that time period

We decided out of all the places.We would go 2 Sonic 

Because I am sorta of a health nut & if I want 2 relax I want 2 just indulge in the desire of greasy food for 1 night. My friend liked that motto, so Sonic met our desire for greasy food our love of music, cars, women & the classic American style

My best bud is a very short round critical individual, he is a history/English major. He believes in finding the darkness in everything. He loves comic books

I am a very tall fun loving patriotic American.  I believe in truth, justice & the American way. I am generally very strong & hopeful. I love the Dallas Cowboys, Superman, Captain America

We are opposites but what connects us is our love for 80s, 90s & hip hop music. Old school & new school films such as Lethal Weapon, Top gun, American Pie, Harold & Kumar go to white Castle, Back to the Future, Star Wars, Terminator, Adam Sandler films & Indiana Jones etc.

After a couple of days of suffering through lectures we figure we need a mini weekend, this is Sonic Night  

A night were we generally went to the local Sonic by NMSU

Has turned into the night were we search out a Sonic to eat @ from Las Cruces to the far city limits of El Paso. Sometimes we often end up on a series of comical misadventures when we cannot find the damn restaurant

We have braved a frigid snow storm to eat @ Sonic (the power was out through half of las cruces but we got lucky cause 1 sonic was operational), We have braved extreme thunderstorms/Sand storms to eat @ sonic in El Paso, We have traveled way off 1-10 to find a Sonic

Sometimes we are home @ 10 pm, sometimes 1 am, 2am the same day as an exam. We usually start @ 6 pm or 7pm

There have been times when I don't stop the truck & he has 2 jump in the truck while he just got out of class or I get out of class late & we begin late

I'm always the driver, he's always the passenger. I always turn up the music while we drive down the road.Wondering what this night will throw at us as we make our way 2 Sonic...
