Welcome Back Aggies!
It's the beginning of February and our new semester is really starting to get going. You may dread this semester for some reasons such as not getting enough sleep, not working out enough, not getting as good of grades as you could, etc. Well let me put this little idea into your head..Now's the perfect time for a fresh start. If there were things about last semester that didn't go the way you wanted, now's the time to address those issues and change them so you don't dread school again come next fall. So first thing is first:
1) Set your priorities. Make a list of things that need to get done, i.e. class, homework, extra studying, working out, extracurriculars and friends. Once your list is complete, prioritize each thing that needs to be done and complete it in the numerical ordering you put it in.
2) Time management. Limit activities that might lead to distractions from what you need to get done such as facebook and tv. With less distraction you have more time to get things on your list done and more time for sleep, working out, friends, and ensuring you are on top of yours classes.
I give you these tips because these are ones I am trying to adopt to on my own. Perhaps with a little bit of self-betterment we can all enjoy our semester a little more and find more accomplished in our day. Good luck Aggies!
Carley
