As the dreaded holiday of Valentine's Day is approaching, all you hear is the complaints and nagging of those who do not have a special someone to spend the day with. The excuse of "Valentine's Day is not even a real holiday" or "This is just a holiday for girls" are two of the most common themes I have had to listen to for years now. So instead of looking at tomorrow as a reminder that you are alone, why don't you embrace the things you do have and pour your love into that....
None of us are dating the supermodel we wish we were or the Italian Hunk that is going to swoon us EVERYDAY, but that does not mean we are not surrounded by other people and things that love us! Our parents have unconditional love for us so why not show them some love in return and send them a beautiful gift. Or if you have a furry companion, why not take them for a long walk or get them a Delicious treat to show them how much they mean to you. There are many blessings in this world that do not just include having a significant other, so instead of burrowing yourself in blankets tomorrow and hiding from the world, show the world how much love you can give! When the world sees how much love you can have, someone is bound to fall in love with that.....
