Here is another piece of advice from a super senior.
Get involved in extracurricular activities
- it helps you to meet like- minded people who share the same interests
- it helps you to learn essential leadership skills
- showing that you have made a difference in your community stands out on a resume or job application
- it is the best way to meet people and create a core group of friends
- it's fun!
- go the NMSU Campus Activities website to see a list of student clubs and organizations
- you are also able to make your own club if you are passionate about something that is not already on our campus (see Campus Activities website for details)
